One of the best Championships ever

In yesterdays issue of one the major Norwegian newspaper "Adressa", IOF president Åke Jacobson expresses: "The organisers have done what they should and even a little bit more. This WOC has surely been one of the best Championships ever, even if it is difficult to rank the different Cahpionships".

30.000 spectators at WOC2010

WOC2010 was a big success with almost 30.000 spectators watching the WOC-competitions. At the sprint final in the town centre of Trondheim on Sunday 8.8, there were 10.000 spectators.

WOC 2010 is over

The organizers of WOC 2011 in France have taken over the IOF flag. We wish them the best of luck with the championships.

Norway takes the silver medal in a dramatic relay.

Waaler Kaas is the World Champion!

 The final minutes of the mens Middle distance was a thriller. Carl Waaler Kaas won and Peter Öberg (SWE) took the silver.
